Day004 - Revamp Ideas 02

Today, Wahida showed us a few more video clips on some documentaries to give us a few more ideas. But i think the group kind of get an idea of what they wanted to do. And the video we watched are more like background base documentary. So... I don't think we'll have much of an influence of the video we recently watched. I don't want to be more confused, but the video was a warm up i guess. It set my mind in place. Okay, back to description on our group progress.

Yup. Like i said before, i had a huge feeling we were going to re-discuss and re-edit our ideas. That was what we did today other than watching videos. This would be our 3rd draft idea on the videos and we now had to include our very first draft ideas back. We changed a few things for our intros, contents and we finally came up for the ideas on our endings. So here's what we got so far.

1. Intro: (1min)

1.1 Fast run of images/videos (with voice overs)
- Animation + Videos
- Animation = High Contrast and thick line art
- Images/Videos = Footage on the modules we did
- Voice Overs = "I am"...designer/daughter/mother etc. (a few number of voices)

1.2 Transitions=Intro/Content
- Introducing group members
- Still filming with fast play *(maybe include the "hobbies/interest")
= At TP bustop: Still filming of the group members with fast moving traffics and people.
= Fast motion move to a group member. During self-introduction (voice over), slow motion play.
* = I'm "name", i play/do ... "hobbies/interest" (show footage of the person doing his/her "hobbies/interest".
* = After one's introduction, move to another member (fast motion). Self-introduction (voice over with slow motion play). Repeat to other members.

1.3 Overview of varies role
- Videos: Sholleh, Betty, Hui Qin
= to be viewed later
- Anims: Hanis, Laurie
= OCs/mascots design = Laurie
= Graphic animations = Hanis

2. Content: (10mins)

2.1 Caption "Different lifestyles, Same Goals"
2.2 Style/format
- Not in order of 2mins per member
- taking turns of members interviewing
- Set aside a number of questions for members to answer (so that it would be in the order of taking turns)
* - Include the bloopers (no cut unless necessary), but cover it with a flash cut and a beep sound after the blooper before continuing the conversation/interview.
- Cuts between members, include flash cut w/o beep sound
- Video/Animation interaction
= OCs/little mascot quick animation frame (pulling headings/subheadings)
= Interviewed person may "interact" with the animation, such as if the mascot made mistake on the subheadings (spelling mistake/ proportions, etc.)


3. End: (1min)

3.1 Silhouette shots on the members ending with a "big bang"
- Freeze frame on the jumps/pose
